Beat some nobody 156-91 tonight. Last year's highest scoring team in the country is fun to watch, although I'd be shocked if they even finish in the top three in their conference.

    Belichick is proud.

No VMI player had over 20 minutes. Belichick would have kept his players in throughout the game.

Was in VMI coach Duggar Baucom's office a few weeks back, and he was watching tape of a 1989 game between Loyola Marymount and La Salle. Dude knows how to coach a fun style of basketball.

56 points allowed? VMI's football team wishes it had that kind of defense. They gave up more than that three times this year (including 70-plus the last two games).

156 is about 100 more than VMI scored against Ohio State last week.

    156?

The number of points by VMI tonight...or the number of heart attacks in Duggar Baucom's career?

    Fucking cheap shot, sportshack. Dick.

VMI only scored 57 points against Ohio State last weekend, so it can not go wild against a decent team.

No, and VMI lost the majority of the game it played last season in which it didn't score 100, until the run to the Big South tournament final, when Baucom slowed down on defense and won a few games in the 80s and 90s.

Back in the day, Ron Carter was a serious hooper for the Keydets.

Whether they play well against good teams or not, it has to be fun to watch at a place that isn't exactly known for its yuks. Especially if you're a rat.

  12. I was in Lexington last Tuesday or Wednesday night and can't believe I missed these guys.

Apparently they have been doing this for a while as the game plan is to shoot the ball whether you have the shot or not...it's just a shoot and crash the boards offense...hence the 0-4 team scoring 91.
