Vitale kiss 'no laughing matter'

Ashley Judd has paid her dues. She has been a fan of UK through the good times and the really good times.

 

Exactly right.

This column just felt like a writer bereft of ideas searching for something ...anything ..to act outraged about. Vitale's a goofy old man, everybody knows it, nobody takes him seriously any more. If it didn't bother Judd then I see no cause for it to concern the rest of us.

 

The column was nothing short of garbage.

What's the threshold for doddering old foolishness when it becomes acceptable to try to swallow someone's face unsolicited?

 

I don't believe there was any "face swallowing" going on here. Was there?

I'll concede I haven't seen the footage, but my understanding is this actually consisted of an exchange of two kisses, first Judd giving Vitale a peck on the cheek, and then Vitale returning with a peck on the lips, and with nothing but smiles, laughter and no expressed offense by Judd afterward.

Doesn't sound to me like something to be up in arms about. If it didn't upset Judd then it doesn't upset me. Was the second kiss appropriate? Nope, probably not, but that doesn't mean it's an event worthy of column outrage.

 

I had to draw the line when he started eating her out on the scorer's table.

Apparently Ms. Judd agrees with this.

 

Hard to say what's more remarkable, Vitale's behavior or the irony-phobic thought processes of some posters here.
