    In my tours, I've always thought that the rest areas in Virginia and North Carolina were about the best in the country. Certainly the best on the right coast. Wouldn't surprise me if there was an increase in accidents if these closures occur.

    Unless it's daylight and I see lots of people, I'll go at a truck stop or just pull over and pee behind a tree before I stop at some rest areas.
