Seattle Pilots caps are available from either American Needle and New Era. The American Needle caps were available early last season at Miller Park; I imagine they still are. The New Era caps are part of a new collection of about 80 relatively accurate historic MLB team caps (http://shop.neweracap.com/Mens/Sport_mlb/Style_59Fifty-MLB-Cooperstown).

I wonder how you can write any story -- even an obit -- about the one-and-done Seattle Pilots without mentioning Jim Bouton and "Ball Four." Like it or not, that connection was huge and incredibly relevant, and it changed the world of professional sports from that point forward.

Not knocking the obit, just surprised. And RIP to Max Soriano, who helped make it all possible.
