Vince Young Suspected of Assault

Probably a decent amount, but a bipolar linebacker can adjust to his responsibilities easier than a bipolar QB, whose job it it is to keep himself and his team calm in pressure situations. Plus, he's not a smart man, and again he plays the worst position to overcome such a deficiency.

Ben Roethlisraper is about 150,000x dumber than Vince Young and he's won two Super Bowls. Hanging out in strip clubs and (allegedly) beating people up isn't going to be the difference between the Titans flaming out with Young at the helm and contending for a championship.

No, Young is dumb in the true sense of the word. Big Ben is a jackass who makes terrible, arguably criminal choices, but from an inteligence level, he's Stephen Fucking Hawking compared to VY, who would likely screw up a baked potato at the aforementioned Cracker Barrel.

What if he's innocent?

 

That's some great reporting in Care Bear's link. An individual was left with a bodily injury. Maybe the dustup was caused by the individual's lack of apparent gender.

It appears that the police rushed right out:

The altercation allegedly broke out after words were exchanged at Club Onyx on 10557 Wire Way near Interstate 35E in Northeast Dallas. The first call to police came at about 3:38 a.m. and reported "two black males fighting in the parking lot."

Club security made a second call to police at 4:06 a.m., and an ambulance was called at about 5:30 a.m. Police believe Young left the scene before officers arrived, a DPD official said

 

So I guess we should expect a meeting and suspension from the commissioner this week.
