Vin Scully to announce future plans

    He's in the last year of his contract, which should be lifetime anyway, but still ...

    If anything, hopefully he's back and I (and I'm sure other baseball fans) would be fine if he cuts back to just home games just to keep him behind the mic.

    Out-and-out retirement would be a disaster. He's still the best there ever was and ever will be.

    Why not just "plans"?

    This site does have a search function.. I agree with Grumpy... a halfassed effort would have worked.

    That search function sure is helpful.

    You know what else is helpful? Posting things with a thread title that makes sense, and posting them on the right board.
