No, '93. Was up against Smells Like Teen Spirit for a VMA.

'87 would have been stuff from Hysteria.

And yes, I am full of fail. And I'm going to see Def Lep in April, so STFU!!!!!!

Which is the DL song that had that ridiculous cartoon video?

That would be the aforementioned Let's Get Rocked.

    That was the one.

I'm just an average ordinary everyday kid...

Good Lord that was awful. But fuck if I can't resist the urge to crank it up man!! whenever it comes on the XM.

Dammit! I thought they released Promises in 2000, but it came out in 1999. I might actually have put that one on my list of top songs from the '90s.

I have this foggy memory of hearing a new DL "hit" song in the late 80s during high school and thinking, "Damn, this can't be the same group that made Pyromania." Don't know what the song was, though.

If you missed Pour Some Sugar on Me in the late 80s, you are completely and totally full of fail.

Maybe it was that one, but I couldn't get away from that song in high school, so I'm thinking it was another one. Who knows? That was well more than half my life ago.

So who's opening for DL at this show? Krokus?

Styx and some other '80s band that missing half its original members.

    Foreigner?

Is this the tour where the bands are rotating headline status?

Maybe. I care only for the Leps.

And yea, they rotated headline status with Bryan Adams on a recent tour as well, but since they are coming to my town, they will be the headliners here, dammit!
