Every writer at CBS making more than $100K is at risk.

Wonder if Judge will land in one of the recently vacated NFL jobs. St. Paul? They wisely hired a veteran when Twins beat was open. ..... Who else needs and NFL beat writer, and did judge go directly from a newspaper beat to CBS?

Whatever it is, it sure as hell won't be Fox Sports 1 or the shit bath that is FoxSports.com.

Are they going to replace Freeman and/or Judge? Right now, Prisco is the only writer left on staff who actually goes to games.

Meant to ask: Why all the salary-dumping at CBS?
Is the site not worth it? Is the parent network doing that bad?

You'll have to let Gary Parrish, Gregg Doyel, Dennis Dodd, Tony Barnhart, Jeff Borzello, Ken Berger, Scott Miller, Danny Knobler and Jon Heyman know that before they wonder why they're at stadiums.

I think CBSSports.com (which I just used to look up PGA scores) and all other TV sports broadcasting Websites are going to gradually or not so gradually evolve into 99 percent videos and agate. So they won't need or want many writers.

The TV broadcasting websites up here in Canada seem to exist only to publish wire copy and BLOGS!
