V-Day on a budget....

A thoughtfully written letter can be written on the side of a used, grease-stained brown paper bag and still might be kept for 100 years.

And a long (morning, afternoon, evening) of loving, energetic and attentive sex can go a long way, too.

The better half and I will spend the afternoon entertaining a group of eight 11 year olds for our youngest son's birthday (which is actually on Tuesday), including a trip to the movies.

After that, we're going to make a dinner for us together--me on appetizers, her on main course. And I imagine there will be champagne, chocolates and strawberries somewhere in the mix.
