Used to be a Mencia fan, turns out I like other comics

Seen them both. Chappelle is hilarious, don't get me wrong, but he's not as good as Eddie Murphy was during his prime.

 

Chapelle's true gift is sketch comedy.
Eddie Murphy was the clown prince of stand up. I was always partial to "Delirious." It can't touch King Richard (Pryor) on the Sunset Strip.

 

Chappelle is great, but his best stand-up is not in the same league as Eddie Murphy or George Carlin's best stuff...

 

Put Joe Rogan and Carlos Mencia together in the same room and you know what you've got? The world's leading exporter of douches.

I'm not saying this to put you down(or anyone else) but I don't find Eddie Murphy's stuff that funny. I think it's a generation thing because that's how some of my buddies feel as well.

Well, both of them have cost a lot of people their jobs, but I think Chappelle is a better comedian than Vick is a quarterback...

 

I'm not convinced that Chappelle couldn't throw a better spiral, too ...

 

I hope you're not blaming the Comedy Central situation on Chappelle.
