They are men in CT who have been treated for E.D. because they can't get a vision of Shea Ralph out of their heads.

No, it really isn't. There is a big difference between sending children to inferior schools due to the color of their skin and denying women's basketball a large fan base because most sports fans just don't give a ****.

No one is deny women's basketball anything. It has the fan base that it has because people prefer other things. The women generally play in the same venues as men and draw a fraction of the crowds; in some instances, that's because the seasons overlap and people can only do so many games in a week. The women choose to keep that overlap going instead of exploring new territory.
You know, the old Great Midwest Conference used to do this very thing: play the women's tournament same weekend, same place as the men. The men's game would have big, five-figure crowds. The women's audience when I went literally numbered in the dozens.
