Do you have the skills necessary to succeed in the ever-changing media market? USA Hockey Magazine can help you gain the experience to make the jump from the college ranks to the working world through its editorial assistant internship program.

In addition to assisting with writing and editing of the world’s largest hockey publication, you will gain valuable experience in dealing with social media projects such as Podcasts, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.

Candidates must possess a strong journalism background, with sound writing skills and a solid foundation in copy editing and proofreading. A working knowledge of ice hockey is highly recommended but not a deal breaker.

Interns will assist the editor in all facets of publishing the official magazine of USA Hockey at its national office in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The paid internship runs from July 1 to Dec. 20. Dates are negotiable to fit around school and other commitments.

To receive an application, please send an e-mail to HarryT@usahockey.org.

This is a great website. We received interest from so many outstanding candidates that we're going to stop accepting resumes and begin reviewing information from those who have reached out to us. This is going to be a difficult decision. Thanks to everyone who applied. We will definitely use this site again to find our next intern/editorial assistant. Harry T
