    Dang it. I am a State Farm customer. I'll definitely remember that for next year. Thanks for the tip.

    You don't even need to buy TurboTax or get it from your insurance agent.

    There are links on the IRS site with several different options to prepare your taxes online. And you can file online through it too.

    If you make over so much money, you do get charged (I think it's $19.95). But it has all the forms right online like that.

    I'll try to dig up a link today or tomorrow.

    I used www.taxact.com. It charged me $19.95 for fed and state taxes.

    irs/gov then free file. You do leave the IRS site to whichever tax preparer's site you use.

    If your AGI is less than $54,000, you can use the software for free and efile.
