    EDIT (took me a while to find the right words): I hope those affected are getting more than "counsel[ing] about their options and their opportunities."

    After reading his memo, instead of signing it "Yours, Robert" it would be more accurate had he signed it, "Up yours, Robert".

    At least then it would have reflected the serious f***ing that the copy editing staff was getting.

    I might be reading this wrong, but I thought it said that while copy editors were being fired, reporters were being added. It doesn't sound like the same shit happening everywhere else.
    Please correct me if I'm wrong.
