    Of course, the first comment they get in that story one of the dickwads with the "serves them right, working for a liberal rag" attitude.

    I guess McClatchy will end up doing this chain wide. Saw Raleigh got hit today.

    They're the ignorant ones, mpcincal. Not every paper has a liberal bias, but I guess people automatically think the MSM is all liberal and that isn't true.

    Back on topic, my thoughts go out to the Sacramento people let go today.

    Not sure how much Sactown has left to cut in sports. They've pretty much eliminated staff MLB coverage (Giants and A's) in favor of more 49ers, Raiders and especially the Kings, which as the only pro team in town tends to dominate everything else. No more WNBA Monarchs, but the PCL club packs them in.

    It is CEO Gary Pruitt's hometown paper, so they won't cut too deeply.
