    No. Does sound horrid, though.

Horrid would be a compliment for that thing. Unfortunately, I just threw mine out a couple of weeks ago, or I'd offer to send it you (postage due, of course).

Nice work, Drama. Just because you decided to name yourself after a Hollywood hot shot, doesn't mean you play some tough guy on here.

I'll add you to the list of a-holes who attack people who ask questions about a job on a job board. And if it's any consolation, I won't be applying.

For what it's worth, it's doubtful they'll be hiring a newbie for this one. The last two guys who covered the beat had plenty of experience covering major colleges.

It's been a few moons since I worked there and haven't been in the market for a while so I'm not sure what the going rate is for a 40,000-circ. paper. However, I'd hazard a guess that the News-Gazette would be on the high end of the pay scale for that range.

There are a lot of good folks on staff, too. Plus, you're in the home of Papa Del's pizza. May not be the best pizza in the world, but it's close.

Well, I just sent my stuff in, so if you're in the running, congratulations. You are guaranteed NOT to be the lamest-ass fail-at-life loser to apply.

Papa Del's over Garcia's? To each his own, I guess...

Consider the gauntlet dropped, my friend. I will give you a major run for your money in said category. Or is it a sad category?

After the two Garcia's shuttered in Indiana (Bloomington and Muncie), I've found myself considering making a special trip to Champaign just for the pizza. I miss it :).

I believe the Flying Tomato brothers are down to just two locations in Champaign.

I used to be a big Garcia's fan, but then I was introduced to Papa Del's. It's not even close: Papa Del's hands down.
