    Anyone notice the word uneffected in stories on tainted eggs? It seems like the same mistake isn't being noticed around the country.

    Most people are unaffected by such mistakes.

    I was just pointing this out to my wife yesterday. Some kind of bastardization of "unaffected" and "no ill effects." Regardless, you're right, it's bothersome.
