  1. Solid two-parter in LA Times ...
As a two-parter it's long, but engrossing. Just a few paragraphs in, I suspected what was going on ... Wow.

    SPOILER:

I can NOT believe they didn't investigate this woman any harder or charge her. She should be in jail.

If you are accused of a crime, and people can imagine you doing the crime just based on their impression, you are in deep shit no matter how much actual evidence you can produce for your innocence.

What a messed up story. Almost done with the second part.

What a twisted bitch. Sadly, I'm not all that shocked, tho. Friend of mine (coincidentally also in banking) went through the exact. same. thing. a few years ago. I posted here about it.

Unfortunately, because she could help police in another case — a local pastor who had abused kids — she was never charged with a damned thing. Completely walked.

This is why you don't have kids with someone you don't want to marry.

Having watched my ex-sister-in-law use their children to drive my brother into deep depression and a suicide attempt, nothing surprises me anymore. I hope the kid is okay.

I'm one of those people who can spot crazy a mile away. Same with a friend of mine. It's like gaydar. Crazdar?
