I won't be paying $10 a gallon.

The sad thing is our President and his advisers are collectively stupider than a 5 year old.
A 5 year old kid puts his hand on a hot stove. He'll burn his hand and won't touch a hot stove again. Our leadership is looking at yet another hot stove and thinking, 'this time, I won't burn my hand" and is now reaching for the stove.

 

A solid analogy, except this is worse: the stove we're reaching for now is three times larger and ten times hotter than the one that fucked us up before. It's madness.
