Two Curt Flood books

There appear to be two books out right now on Curt Flood's fight for free agency. Not sure why there was a run on authors writing about Flood, but I was thinking about getting my dad, a Cardinals fan, one of them for Christmas.

One is by Brad Snyder, the other Alex Belth.

Don't really know anything about either writer.

    Anyone have any input?

    Thanks.

  2. The Alex Belth one was decent. A straight-forward biography, gets in, tells the story, gets out. Not overly artful, but nothing bad about it either.

    Haven't read the other one.

    Sirs, Madames,

A Well-Paid Slave is a fantastic book. The legal end is never so comprehensively detailed. Truly great.

    YHS, etc
