Tulsa World to lay off 18

    And that last sentence β€” with "amount" being the key word β€” sums up the sad, sad attitude of 99 percent of newspaper publishers today.

    I know some people at the Tulsa World are SportsJournalists.comers. I hope for the best for them and everyone else affected by these layoffs.

    I do know that Mike Strain, formerly the sports editor, is now the news editor.
