How many yards did Doug Flutie and Bernie Kosar throw for in the "Hail Mary" game?

'bout krapped when I saw the answer to this.

If memory serves, it was around 900 yards. Shit, Phelan had 226 yards in receptions by himself.
(Revisited to add this: Don't ask me why I know Phelan's stat. I have no idea. It's just stuck there, unexplicably.)

The last time "I, Peter King," was relevant? Death of the last kernel of humility in TO? Last day of innocence for Clarett? Date on which Bart Starr, Ernie Pantuso and YA Tittle were not in my kitchen?

Your thing with Phelan is like mine with the line score of Game 7 of the 1985 World Series......

    STL--0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
    KC-- 0 2 3 0 0 6 0 0 x

Answer to question is 920 yards.........Flutie threw for 472, Kosar for 448.

Nope. All four major sports played a regular or post-season game that day.

    Baseball: Game 7 of WS
NFL: Full slate of NFL games
    NBA: Seven NBA games
    NHL: Four NHL games
