Tribune Cyber Attack

    This seems like a big deal. Cyber attack from a foreign actor. Able to cripple news distribution. I think this is more than a test.

    The LA Times has a better story, but it’s behind a paywall.

    Not necessarily from a foreign actor.

    Anyone anywhere can get private VPN accounts from servers in some countries and then route an attack from that server location to anywhere else in the world.

    Just going off the LA Times report that indicates it was from outside the US. Still a lot to be learned and still fluid.
