Atta girl. I'd tip you with a $5 chip if I had any.

I'd use it to play blackjack.

Damn right you would. Then, you'd win, gimme my five back and I'd combine it with 100 more and blow it all at the poker table.

    I miss Vegas.

    Lose your last one? :)

I've just never been a big fan of gambling. Sure, I can have fun at the blackjack tables. Or, maybe playing craps. Maybe for a few hours one night. Certainly not for an entire weekend or week.

I'd much rather keep my money, travel and see sites like the Canyon, dam, Yosemite, Death Valley, etc., than buy the casino a new waterfall for the grand entrance.

Never been to Vegas, but I hope to get a chance to go out there one day. Then again, this is the same person who, at age 24, has never been west of the Mississippi.

    Despise: nature, history, outdoors.

    Love: gambling, cards, free booze.

That's why I choose the dank casino over the Canyon.

If you go to Vegas worrying about losing your money, you're going to the wrong place. I lost a good chuck of change last time I was out there, and I've never had more fun in my life. I saved, I spent, I enjoyed. When I gambled my money, the last thing on my mind was how it could be used to buy the casino a new entrance or waterfall.

Maybe that makes me uncool or unhip or whatever. So be it.

Same here. I'd feel like I was cheating myself if I went and saw some stupid hole in the ground when I could be gulping free booze while losing hundreds of hard earned dollars at the tables. :) You couldn't pay me to visit those awful outdoorsy things.

Sonner, I think you and I would have fun at the blackjack tables.

I treat casinos like I treat amusement parks: I take the money i want to spend, I figure I'm paying for hours of entertainment, and I expect to lose every dime I take in there. That way, if I win, or even just don't lose it all, it's like a bonus.

never go in NEEDING to win to make it home. Just go with the money you can afford to lose, and lose it the most fun way you can. Generally, that means lots of free booze.

You can come and kick it with me when you get there. I will be in school then.

But what happens when you sit down at a table, hit a run of incredibly crappy cards, and lose your entire day's wad in about 10 minutes? Gotta find something to do with the rest of the day.
