Absolutely. Daniel Craig made me a fan again.

I refused to watch any Pierce Brosnan movies. But when I saw Casino Royale, I felt like a kid all over again. Is it me, or has Craig given him a little more edge??? I dig it...

I think he's an extension of it, but there's edginess in the plots and direction as well.

    True. Agree.

It looks like the Bond women will be quite nice once again too. I remember going to the last one with my folks, and my mom tells me how the movie critic for their paper said the Bond women weren't pretty. Movie begins, and I lean over and tell her their critic is a complete ass.

    I"m looking forward to it.

Maybe between now and then someone will explain to me what the title "Quantum of Solace" means.

It means "an amount of grief," basically.

Daniel Craig is slowly, but surely, undoing all of the damage Pierce Brosnan did to the movies.

Chalk this one up to one I'm going to have to see with my dad over Thanksgiving (it's an unspoken rule that there are certain movies we can't see without each other - James Bond, Star Wars and Harry Potter are the top 3. I think we're also going to try to see Angels and Demons too, but it's getting harder to go see movies together when we now live 1,700 miles apart.)

Seriously? Brosnan wasn't that bad. And he had to make up for all the muck Timothy Dalton did to the movies. Shit! Dalton almost killed the franchise.

It looks like it should be good. I'll be there.

Timothy Dalton made Brosnan seem like Sean Connery...

And before Dalton, there was professional clothes horse Roger Moore.
