Track and Field Nationals last weekend

    I watched bc I love T&F and have a friend I may train for the Women's 800M who went (but didn't run (she is sick)).

    Great event, the US has a lot of talent ready for 2008 games.

    Special highlights were:

    1.) Second fastest 200M ever run (Michael Johnson dug it)

    2.) 1500M ending (awesome kick by Webb!)

    3.) 110M hurdles

    4.) Javelin

    Etc.

    What did you all think?

    Feild Day was one of my favorites at school, next to feild trips.
    Now I just tire of feilding questions.

    Seriously, I used to abhor track. It grew on me. I enjoy a good track meet now. Feild, too.

    And somehow the Track and Feild [/JDV] Nationals became about JDV and someone he's going to train. Didn't even make it past the first post before it went that route. Oy vey.

    Ha ha, yep I still can't spell (amazingly it's the simple words that always get me).

    Alan Webb's finishing kick in the 1,500 was pretty damn impressive, I'll say that.

    Oh yeah, it was outrageous to have that kind of kick.gas left after a pretty quick 1500 hundo.

    The Kenyan (turned American) who is his rival tried to chalk it up to him running the 5K recently. That argument has some merit although Webb beat him the same way recently @ the Pre

    Oh yeah, the guy from Texas was also good & grabbed 2nd
