Total Request Live now not live

MTV has no plans to change the show's name to Total Request Taped....one more sign that MTV is worthless as a source of, y'know, music television.

Fuck MTV. I hope against hope that they go belly-up. When was the last time they actually gave a shit about music, and I mean ALL music, not just the bullshit hip-hop/rap/pop/techno/emo shit that the mush-minded youth of today listen to.

 

I'm fine with that. Death to MTV and all its spawnings (except any channel where they show videos at least 80 percent of their air time).

 

So VH1 stays, right? At least they have a bunch of shows/movies that are directly music-themed.

 

Who cares? MTV sucks.
