Larussa or Pujols to the beach?

Jose Oquendo will be a frontrunner for this job. Francona needs to look to his health.

Pujols isn't going anywhere. This doesn't change a thing as far as that goes.

The Cardinals' bullpen this postseason was another Dave Duncan miracle. Maybe the greatest pitching coach ever.

Yes. Mazzone as a manager would likely be a disaster.

Who is the frontrunner to get Pujols?
Who is the frontrunner to get Fielder?

Maybe both will be on the Yankees next season.

The Yankees, Red Sox and Phillies already have very expensive first basemen locked up for multiple years. They're out.

Who else needs a 1B and has the ability and desire to give out a contract likely to approach $200 million for either of them?

Pujols goes back to St. Louis. Have no idea on Fielder. My guesses are the Cubs, Angels, Rangers and Giants.

    The Natinals.

Maybe LaRussa will come back and manage lefties with 2 out in the 7th inning.

ESPN interviewing "friend of Tony La Russa" Bob Knight live on the phone right now ... not at all shocking that they're friends.

May they enjoy the rest of their lives at Out of Sight, Out of Mind Island.

I'd pay real money to see Knight roasted on Comedy Central. You could solve the debt crisis at $100.00 a ticket.
