    Love him or hate him, he definitely helped a lot of beat writers fill a lot of notebooks over the years. Granted, most of it was bullshit, but it filled the space around the tire ads on page D-3 every day.

    The woman who got caught running that LA Call Girl/Hooker Service and wrote a tell-all book, named Lasorda as a client. He was swearing up and down on a Dodger Blue Bible that it was a lie, and he promised a law suit. Then I forgot about the whole thing. What ever happened with that story?
