Tom Clancy fans: Info, please

Since 'Teeth' was brought up... let me ask y'all... Did you get a sense that the op wasn't going to remain a secret for long. The one terr that got run over by the streetcar made me think the docs were going to find the drug. Point wasade that esterases in blood broke down the drug, but TC made a point in saying that that guy was almost immediately drained of all his blood. Also, when Jack Jr. was coming out of the terr's room after copying his hard drive, the bellboy was in the hallway picking up the twins' suits for cleaning. Surely, the bellboy would remember that, and the fact that Jack had asked about Hawkins shortly before his death? And bolts immediately afterwards?

Couldn't tell if Clancy was leaning toward that, or if it was just poorly thought out by the author.
