Politically Guyger had to be convicted of something, lest Dallas burn. And trust me, the place was teetering on a match head.

Guyger decided to take it to trial and then failed to have the venue changed to a friendlier locale like the Collinfederacy or Baja Oklahoma. She should be thanking her lucky stars she'll be out in five.

(For the record, I thought manslaughter should've been the more appropriate charge, so probably 5-10 is right.)

Or she’s just an idiot who never should have been in a job that allowed her to carry a gun in the first place. I think she would have blasted away at anybody, regardless of skin color.
