Shot, do you have children? If not, it's hard to explain. ANYTHING involving any child suddenly becomes more personal to you when you have one (or more) of your own.

Yes, I do. And I don't want to bash about it, but this is a very common "parent" thing, thinking that they're the only people who can feel outrage over this because they have children of their own. Wrong is wrong.

If anything, I should feel more strongly about it, because I've actually worked with this guy.

I'm not saying parents are the only ones who feel outrage. I am saying that I am more disturbed by things like this than when I did not have a child and I know many other people who say the same thing.
