Time Magazine Cover Story: Is Football Worth It?

    I'm sure people will shit on me for saying this, but the difference you see in your kid when they play tackle football is just amazing.

    My oldest has played just about every sport. He's usually one of the better ones at most of them. But his confidence just skyrocketed after his first year playing Pop Warner. I don't think it was just because he did well. I talked to the parents of some of the kids who barely played and they said their kids were just tougher, more confident and took direction better after playing.

    It was like that for me as a kid. I owe a lot to the sport.

    That doesn't mean you don't worry about them getting hurt though.
