As Steve Silpa would say, "Really?! Seriously?!

Steve's mom's name, by the way, was Flexi. No lie.

Did I ever tell you all about the advantages of using football helmets in graphics?

    Oh ... never mind ...

  5. Zeke - Allen Ginsburg was a member of NAMBLA (not kidding) and the poet laureate of the Left. Why did liberals love Ginsberg and why did Ginsberg love young boys? I don't know but I also don't know how Ted Kennedy's liver hasn't given out yet.

    Lou --

Are you really suggesting a correlation between left of center politics and pedophilia?

A lot of Catholic priests would disagree with you...

  12. ad hominem argument = logical fallacy

take away logical fallacies and you take away 99% of political discourse in the USA
this applies to left and right alike, although the right has been a bit more 'tarded of late

academic reformists really fucked up when they jettisoned logic and rhetoric from the liberal arts curriculum
it was useful to have in the curriculum
even if it just introduced the concepts so that people would understand the difference between the two
rhetoric is perfectly acceptable, unless it's masquerading as logic
    then it's poisonous
