Tiger Woods PGA08 (video game)

Anyone have it yet? I was a little disappointed in 07, and I'm trying to decide whether I'm going to shell out another $40 for this one.

 

I really like 07, but maybe it's because I have mad skillz on it. I suppose that would make me biased.

 

just curious. If you have 07, do you really need 08?
I'm not a big gamer, so I'm sincerely curious. Same with the Madden stuff.

 

Hell, I haven't bought the PGA series since 05 or 06. Same goes for Madden.

What's supposed to be different/better about 08?

 

With Madden, I at least understand purchasing a new one for updated rosters, new features, etc. But with a golf game, what can they add to it that makes it significantly better than the game from a year ago?

Anybody play Tiger Woods for the Wii? How is it?

 

I did last weekend... maybe because I was kinda drunk, but I didn't like it. Sometimes the Wii controller would cause the golfer to hit it like 50 yards and short pitch shots and putting was awkward.

 

07 had the FedEx Cup.

The only real changes are some new courses, the ability to upload videos & shots to EA's Gamernet to see if anyone can top you, as well as some other cosmetic stuff.

I may rent 08. I'll save my money for other games.

 

If you have the camera for the 360, you can upload your face onto your golfer. It's supposed to be freaky accurate.

 

I'm sorry, in what twisted parallel universe are you only paying $40 for a new video game?

 

Are the last-gen games cheaper?

 

I got it on the PS2 for $40.
It came in the mail yesterday. I haven't had a chance to play it much, so I'll weigh in later when I have.
