For those of you unfamiliar with match play, losing 7 and 6 is like getting beat 54-3 in football.

Losing 10 and 9 is like Georgia Tech over Cumberland.

How the hell do they not make a single birdie between them?

I wasn't there, but I'd say the fact that he doesn't give a fuck about competitions like this may have had something to do with it.

But this was not singles match play.

There were other people on the fairway.

He did go 5-0 in the President's Cup two years ago.

Captain Freddie Couples will be off the hook as long as the U.S. wins. Otherwise, he'd have some 'splaining to do.

Everyone will make it a Tiger thing, but the injured Stricker was the weak link of that pairing.

I read that too, but more as he was the "weaker" link. As in, Tiger would have been crushed in any singles match if he had been playing the way he was, he just wasn't as bad as Stricker.

Wasn't he a captain's pick? If this is true, why would you pick him? Just asking
