Better late than never. Play or don't. No Google.

    1. Who hit Ben Crenshaw in the head with his putter in 1986, forcing Crenshaw to head for the hospital?
ANSWER: Ben Crenshaw hissself. He threw his putter in the air and it landed on his head, sending him to the hospital.

    2. What player has the most career homers against the Seattle Mariners?
ANSWER: Raphael Palmeiro. The guy just killed the Mariners. Manny is No. 2.

    3. Of pitchers with 10 or more decisions as a member of the team, who has the lowest career ERA with the Florida Marlins?
ANSWER: Kevin Brown, 33-19, 2.30 in two seasons.

    4. Who was the last NHL player to compete without a helmet? Hockey bonus question: How many face-off circles are there?
ANSWER: Craig McTavish is correct. And their are nine face-off dots.

    5. Which AFL quarterback threw for the most yards from 1960-69?
ANSWER: Jack Kemp of the Los Angeles/San Diego Chargers and the Buffalo Bills.

BONUS: Sal Valentino, John Petersen, Ron Elliott and Ron Meagher were otherwise known as ...
ANSWER: Yes, the famous Beau Brummels.

Be back about 10:30 p.m. EDT to check on the answers.

There are five faceoff circles and four faceoff dots. I do believe Craig MacTavish was the last player to play without a helmet.

Bumped with updated correct answers. Huggy is correct to say "dots", which I meant, instead of circles, which can be misleading. That's why Canadians are the hockey experts, not us faux Canadians from Erie County.

And one day I'll stump Moddy with a music question. Just might have to change decades.

If 5 is not Hadl, is it Daryle Lamonica? Len Dawson? Jack Kemp?
