Afternoon all. Play or don't. Google discouraged. Answers verified to the best of my ability, but a money-back guarantee is there is a mistake.

    A nice variety today.

Moddy will be stumped. If not today, then sometime.

    1. Who is the only female jockey to win a Triple Crown race, and what was the name of the horse she rode to victory?
ANSWER: Julie Krone, aboard Colonial Affair, won the 1993 Belmont.

    2. Who began the tradition of hoisting the Stanley Cup and then skating around the rink with the arena with it held over one's head?

    3. I was an All-American small-college punter in college but later went on to fame for an unusual, well-documented accomplishment in a different sport as a professional. Who am I?
ANSWER: Jim Morris of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and "The Rookie" is correct. He was an All-American punter at Angelo State in Texas.

    4. Robin Yount of the Brewers is the youngest shortstop in majors since expansion. Who was the second-youngest?

    5. Which NFL team does not have a drafted quarterback on its current roster?
ANSWER: I figured Sam Mills would get this one. Neither Jake Delhomme, Matt Moore, Brett Basanez, Lester Ricard nor Taylor Tharp were drafted.

BONUS: Bill Cunningham, Danny Smythe, Alex Chilton, Gary Talley and John Evans were otherwise known as ... The Box Tops.

    1. Julie Krone is the jockey, can't remember the horse.

    2. I'll say Denis Potvin

I believe the bonus answer is The Box Tops.

Huggy gets 1/2 point for Julie Krone and a full point for the Box Tops. Ben gets the other half point for Colonial Affair.

I want to say Anthony Young for 3 but I have a feeling it's way off.

Your feeling would be correct, and is way off.

Alex Chilton was the name that tipped me off. I'd never heard of the other guys.
