If it's that, then I also nominate Lincecum. Too many moving parts in that delivery and too small of a body.

    Verlander hasn't. Yet.

I'm waiting to for Gorzelanny to be added before I vote here. [/Pirates fanboy looser]

Guess you'll be waiting a while, Ozzie. If you hadn't noticed, all the names on this list are still in the minors, while Mr. Gorzelanny is looking ahead to his fourth start in the Steel City. Otherwise, I'd oblige.

Well, I just added Gorzelanny to my fantasy team. The guy has allowed just three home runs in 81 innings pitches between 2006 and his three starts this season. And after 20 innings this season, he's yet to give up an extra-base hit. That's phenomenal.

Not Pelfrey, who got a no-decision after allowing two runs in 5 2/3 innings in his first start.

Also, Verlander and Liriano both opened 2006 in the big leagues, so who's to say the next rookie stud pitcher needs to be a call-up?

  8. Actually, Oz, you are killing two birds with one stone.

    Gorzelanny also pitched at KU.

You know what's sad, SportsHack? I actually forgot about that. Seriously, I'm a dumbass.

Like I needed any more reason to like the guy, you gave me one. I knew I liked the guy for a reason. :D

You being sarcastic? Saito's well into his 30s.

  11. I'd wager you could take a poll of everyone on this site, and you and I would be the only two who knew he was a Jayhawk.

Yeah, but you would be the only one to actually remember it when asked. ;)
