This is brutal

    For me, my dislike of Bonds is not tainted by steroids. I dislike him naturally, because he's an ass, plain and simple. And he would be that way if he hit 755 homers or 75. He's the kid who would kill his parents and beg for leniency because of his being an orphan.

    He'll hit his homer, and it's an accomplishment. I mean, you still have to hit a homer 756 times, whether you're on steroids or Dr. Pepper. But I don't have to watch or read anything about it, and I probably won't.

    Baseball, players and owners, created this mess, and they won't clean it up until they absolutely have to. They're not used to cleaning up messes. They're used to having clubhouse boys do it for them.

    But what about Schilling saying he admitted he took them when he never did say it?
