I was trying to track down a name at the University of Houston roster, and apparently they have a player named Mighty Inyang.

In high school we had an exchange student named Lo Hang. He was a cool kid, and I don't think he ever truly understood why we found his name funny.

 

At my high school, we had two sisters who had been Vietnamese boat people refugees. Their names? Ha Ho...and wait for it...Ho Ho. They were only at our school for about a year.

 

Didn't Ho Ho run off and marry Ding Dong? ;D

And I think Ha Ho married Wang Hum and became Ha Ho-Hum.

 

Meanwhile, on a Chinese message board, someone is going off on how could an American name their child something so vulgar as Bob Smith or Jim Jones.

I was typing in cross country results and stumbled upon this name tonight:

Good runner at least. Finished third.
