    The batter's box all neatly lined before the game.

    My wife wearing a red button-down flannel shirt.

    The breeze in the air right before a thunderstorm.

    Muddy football uniforms.

    A visit to the ice cream shop with my kids after a Little League or a soccer game (as opposed to our regular visits. It just seems like it's a little more special.)
