USC and Notre Dame have done it for decades.
Florida State took on all comers under Bowden (won at Lincoln).

Not admit players with a criminal record.

If they were still in the Big 12 they'd be odds-on favorites to finish 6th.

Probably. But the Big Ten blows, possibly more this year than ever before.

When at the opposing 1-yard line (or anywhere else), don't try Magic Johnson-like, no-look pass.

Alabama is Alabama because it schedules Florida Atlantic at home and not on the road against major conferences.

Never let a former assistant coach walk out of a shower with a young boy.

Florida State played at Oklahoma in 2010, at BYU in 2009 and at Colorado in 2008. Otherwise, it hasn't played a true intersectional road game since 1997 or so. So, for the last 12 or so years of his tenure, FSU generally did not take on all comers.

"And, unlike Alabama or some SEC teams, the Trojans aren't afraid to play intersectional road games, either at an actual road venue (Virginia, Auburn, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Ohio State, etc., off the top of my head)."

I am being entirely serious when I say that, as a Minnesota alum not born until '67, the Gophers being included on this list of tough road games for USC is the proudest moment I have ever had as a Gopher fan, narrowly edging out the '03 Sun Bowl victory.

Other than recent home and home series with Penn State, Oklahoma and UCLA and neutral site games with Michigan, Clemson, Va. Tech and Florida State, I agree.
