    Again, I reject the notion that people talk loud enough into a cell phone that your can't hear a discussion at your own table, or loud enough to 'ruin' your meal. Udderly ridiculous.

    You must be joking.

    This happens everywhere. Restaurants, airports, museums, libraries.

    Your conversation isn't nearly interesting enough to be broadcast.

    Because like a lot of people, my closest friends live all around the country. Don't think my folks would appreciate me running up a huge bill on the house phone.

    Killick, I've heard other people talking on their phones in restaurants, but never once have I actually had my conversation disturbed. I have far more problems with the children of patrons than their cell phones. A cell phone, you can actually turn it off, or to silent.
