    But c'mon, FB, you know it's more complicated than that.

    Unless you think this bruising and ugly run-up to the Democratic primary season ultimately produces a Clinton-Obama ticket. And, honestly, I think anybody who forsees that right now needs to take a drug test.
     
  3. The "ugly run up" to the Democratic primary season is being contested by people whose position on the major issue of the day is shared by 57 percent of the American people.
    As opposed to five R's competing for the votes of some grumpy theocrats whose approach to government is at this point, at best, a fight for the fringe.
    I feel very bad about this.

    As I always say, it just depends on whose Gore is getting oxed.

    It may well be that 95 percent of black voters will vote Democratic. I'll gladly stipulate that.

    The issue is turnout.

    And if She Who Must Not Be Named plays it wrong, a lot of those solid Dem voters will stay home.
