Wasn't Javier Bardem's villain gay in Skyfall?

I saw A Million Ways on HBO the other day and I liked it. But I do like (some of) McFarlene's stuff (i.e., the tolerable parts of Family Guy).

I don't remember, honestly. I think you could have a gay villain, but you could not have an over the top gay villain.

They're not even that old, but I wonder if Team America or the South Park movie could be made today.

Maybe if you're using cartoons or puppets, you get a pass. :D

So, are we saying that though films, though much more graphically violent and with more nudity, are much more PC than films 30 or so years ago?

Yeah, you can make as many Hostel or Saw movies as you want, but if you use a racial slur or racial stereotype, you'll get into trouble.

I don't know. I never even cringed at Blazing Saddles and the like when they came out. But I cringed at stuff in the Hangover movies and won't see those Saw or Hostel movies.

My kids were watching Peter Pan awhile back and my wife and I were howling during the "What makes the Red Man red?" song because we know how much people would freak out if that came out today.
