These folks better have a good sense of humor; or, Whitlock burns many bridges

    Amen, IJAG.

Seriously.. Whitlock jumped the shark a long time ago. He's not funny, he's not hip .... he's just another asshat columnist trying to stick a finger in our collective eye.

Maybe if he spent less time hanging out on the Ball State message board and more time coming up with column ideas, he'd have a fresh take once in awhile.

Seems to have been written directly for the folks at SJ....not sure the general public will get any of the jokes.

    But I did like this:

    Dear Jason,
Mr. Lupica is not a member of the American Dwarf Bowling Association. We here at the ADBA take our mission very seriously. Mr. Albom is our media representative. Please get it right in the future.

Whitlock was already enemies with all those guys for the most part.

I don't mind attempts at humor, but I didn't laugh at this one.

That wasn't funny. Even if the target deserves a swipe or two (or three or four).

You do realize he's being tongue-in-cheek, right? It's part of his shtick.

It's long since stopped coming across as tongue-in-cheek. He now sounds like a guy who's patting himself on the back for being so much bolder, so much edgier, than everyone else. And by the way, did you know he's been on Oprah?
