There was a story in my neck of the woods recently in which a man tied two dogs to a tree and left them in his backyard. When authorities were finally called, one was malnourished, the other was dead.

And just a month or so ago, we had a story about a dog being dug up after the neighbors heard a whimpering; it had been buried alive.

The punishments for these subhumans should be reciprocal to the treatment they dished out. The first perp should be tied to a tree and left for the dead. The second should be buried alive. Anyone who mistreats animals in such a sadistic way deserves nothing but pain and anguish the rest of their lives. If that's harsh, so be it.
