Before you all spout off any more names as "The World's Most Unfunny Comedian," you might want to check out your local open mic night. How some of those people get up there week after week is beyond me.

I don't hate Cook. In fact, I found his Boston stand-up show to be quite good. I wouldn't want a daily diet of him.

They're not "comedians." They're you, me or the guy down the street thinking we're funnier than we are.

    Speaking of Dane Cook ...

About him. If you have never seen him do standup, you'd probably be stunned. He's one of the raunchier acts around.

Didn't find him funny, just unexpected.

ifilus posted it earlier, from TMZ. He's a scourge on society.

I voted for Kathy Griffin because I find her to be frustratingly unfunny. When I see her, I can tell she has more innate talent than half the comedians I've seen. I want her to be funny, but she's just so close and falls short that I can't just let loose and laugh, unlike when I saw Dane Cook after a few too many beers at 21 or Gallagher when I was 14.

I think Griffin screwed herself a bit with the Bravo multi-concert deal. Because her best stuff is uncensored, and America sees her eight times a week with bleeps throughout the whole thing.

    Plus, Bravo overexposes her.

Richard Pryor, Sam Kinison and Mitch Hedberg are pretty stale these days, too.

I voted for Cook but I would have also happily voted for Griffin, one of the most thunderously unfunny Call Us Next Thursdays ever to walk the earth, and one of the main reasons I refuse to watch the execrable Bravo.
