Well if the infallible anointed Pope thought it was good enough, by Jesus, it ought to be good enough for us fallible folks

  2. You've been watching too many episodes of Criminal Minds (which by the way, has really taken a nose dive in season 2).

You are joking, but the Spanish Inquisition had its successes. I believe that electricity was invented to apply to the scrotums of unbelievers. So there's a silver lining.

Torture doesn't work. Don't take my word for it:

But in heyabott's world, an Army Col. is wrong and he's right, because he saw that torture worked on TV somewhere.

I voted "B," but the army says NO. According, at least, to the army judge giving me a law of land war briefing right now. Go, I'm bored. He'll, this is torture, itself!

Don't put words in my mouth or my handle. I've said there are times it would be appropriate, as an exception. I've also said that I wouldn't trust Oberfurher Cheney and his meat puppet Georgie to use their judgment to exercise discretion in when to use it.

The Israelis have found that sleep deprivation and a few other goodies do bring successful results, just not in every case.

    "I didn't even know them,
And they grabbed me by the scrotum,
And started playing ping pong with my balls,
Oy the agony, oh the shame,
To make my privates public for a game?"
